We manage to obtain one free licence for one of our reader ! AVID Studio has been launched on March, 8th 2011. AVID takes the opportunity to offer one full licence to one of our reader (one licence for a french reader, one licence for an english reader). Past and current collaborators of our website are excluded (full list on Who is doing What on declic-video-fx.com website ?, as well as authors of our articles).
But who will get this licence, offered by AVID ? Since years, customers complain that Pinnacle plugins are expensive : - HFX creator is sold 39 €
- creative pack around 80 US $
- RTFx volume around 60 US $
- one transition title from HFX volume sold 12 US $ for 16 transitions.
The new AVID Studio (also called AS by many of you), propose an all inclusive price (reasonnable amount), including plenty of plugins. That's why we had the idea to ask you the following : - When purchasing the new Avid Studio, lots of plugins are already included. If you had to buy them separately, what is the minimum amount that you should pay to get them ? (answer is available on AVID website, do some calculation to obtain the result...)
Our team does the calculation, and the one who will find the closest result will be able to receive this free licence offered by AVID (we will transfer all information to AVID who will get in touch with you). In case that many of you find the correct result, we will also use these two additionnal questions to take a decision : - How many comments have been registered in our website (since the creation until 29th March 2011 17H00 GMT+2), all languages included ? (answer is also easily available in our website)
- How many answers (in english for this article), will we receive ?

THE END... IT'S FINISHED !!!! The answer was the following: 1/ When purchasing the new Avid Studio, lots of plugins are already included. If you had to buy them separately, the minimum amount that you should pay to get them is $3130 USD. Quite all of you found this answer. Therefore, we have to check the second question. 2/ Since the creation of our website, until 29th March 2011 17H00 GMT+2, 6110 comments have been registered in our website, all languages included ( with S. Arnold comment here). Consequently, Chris will get AVID Studio Ultimate version for free. We will get in touch with you in the following days, please check your email. @ Dan Vik: you could have done the same.... But just for your information, the third answer has not been taken into account, because he was the only one who guess how many comments was registered on 29th March 2011.... I seriously thought of upgrading to Avid and when I l;ook at thye costings the Retail is $99 and the freight $89 and no way would they consider sending it to me as surface post, they told me this could not be done. So at this timre I am not upgrading. In addition to this article, you can :
