This tutorial shows you step by step how to install Avid Studio on your computer.

Before beginning installation, be sure to finalize your current works in Studio (render a DV Encoder AVI or MPEG depending on your source). We advise to temporarily inhibit your antivirus software.

One last thing if you install Avid Studio on a new configuration and you own activation keys : read the FAQ #23 How to enable all activation keys at once when re-install Studio?. This FAQ is perfectly valid for an installation of Avid Studio.

Let's go !

After inserting the Avid Studio DVD, Autorun should start. Click "Run Welcome.exe". Otherwise, you have to get this file directly in the DVD with Windows Explorer.
This window opens, click on "Avid Studio" to begin installation...
You have this message, asking you to proceed to install Windows Installer. Click on "OK".
The installation process will run.
But before proceeding, choose from the list box, the installation language.
The S14/15 installer configures Windows Installer (previously installed).
A few seconds of waiting and registration window appears, complete all fields and click "Register now".
Registration gives you the ability to download additional content for Adorage.
You are now in the installation wizard that will perform several procedures : calculating the space required, initialization directories, etc...The collection of some informations will start by clicking "Next".
Then read and accept the license agreement by checking the appropriate box.
Then, choose the folder where you want to install Avid Studio, it is strongly recommended to install in the main disk C:\ (so do not change anything !).
Remove shortcuts by unchecking the options that do not interest you.
Everything is now ready for installation, click "Install".
The process begins, then follow the calculation of space required, validation of the installation, the new files copy...
After few minutes of patience, the installation is finally over.
Installation is optimizing
Maintenant que l'installation d'Avid Studio est terminée, il faut procéder à celle des plugins Red Giant en cliquant sur "OK".
The Avid Studion plugins installer configures Windows Installer (previously installed).
Plugins installation wizard starts.
Then read and accept the license agreement by checking the appropriate box.
You reach this window. Choose "Standard installation". For those with more experience, "Custom Setup" allows you to choose which plug-ins to install. We strongly recommend the standard installation.
After this choice, the installation window appears, click on "Install" to start the installation process.
From there,  several screens appear : elimination of current application, new files copying...
It's over, you only have to click on "Finish".
You can see from this window that Avid Studio and Red Giant plugins were installed and that only remains to install Studio Bonus Content by clicking on it.
The installation process is still the same. Click on "Next".
Read and accept the license agreement.
Then, choose the folder where you want to install Avid Studio Bonus Content, it is strongly recommended to install in the main disk C:\ (so do not change anything !).
You reach this window. Choose "Standard installation". For those with more experience, "Custom Setup" allows you to choose which plug-ins to install. We strongly recommend the standard installation.
Simply click "Install".
Installation in progress.
C'est fini, vous n'avez plus qu'à cliquer sur "Terminer".

• Title Extreme
• Scoreffiter (Volume 1 / Volume 2)
• Premium Pack (Volume 1 / Volume 2)
• RTFx (Volume 1 /Volume 2)
• Creative Pack Volume 1
• Magic Bullet Looks from Red Giant
• Knoll Light Factory, ToonIt, Particular, 3D Stroke, Shine from Red Giant
